KUALA LUMPUR - Canadian singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes has announced via his Twitter account on 23rd of April 2019 that he will be performing for the first time in Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil for his Asia tour on October 5th this year.

21-year old Mendes, one of the hottest male singers of 2019, has been stealing hearts since he released his single “Stitches” in 2015 that boosted his career.

Just like most singers these days, Mendes started his career by posting covers on YouTube and that has landed him a record label, Island Records in 2014, the same label that signed Justin Bieber.

With the success of his debut album “Handwritten” in 2015, Mendes joined Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour and became the opening act for her concerts.

That further promoted his career even more and now Mendes currently has three No.1 albums with 15 billion streams globally, making him the 40th singer with most listeners on Spotify.

Tickets to his Kuala Lumpur show are priced at RM428, RM358 and RM258 and will go on sale on April 29th via the organizer’s website, www.prworldwide.com

However, hardcore fans with the ShawnAccess app on their phones or have signed up at ShawnAccess.com will receive presale codes which will allow them to purchase tickets starting on April 25th through the website.
